Every year I notice the prominent colors for spring start popping up around this time. This year it seems like blushes and soft pinks are going to be top hues, but I’ve been noticing a quiet resurgence of the shade of baby blue. It’s not until you really start looking for a color that you begin to see it everywhere. It took me no time at all to find and prove my theory: baby blue is back. And in a big way.

The thing I like best about this shade of blue is that I find it universally flattering on everyone. And it’s such an interesting pop of color that it can really work with many unexpected pairings like bold red, soft pinks, or the classic combination black or cream. Baby blue is a nice change for spring. I do love me some pinks, but branching out into blues could do me some good. This might be the only time that having the blues is a really good thing.

  1. Those baby blue Hunters!!! So cute.
I did not think this year’s Pantone colors would catch on so well, especially on the heels of a color like marsala…but they have! I love seeing blush/rose quartz and baby blue/serenity hued products everywhere! So perfect for the spring especially.

I agree on the Pantone colors but all of a sudden I see them everywhere! I’m not mad about it 🙂
