Well I lied to you. I did end up having an exciting weekend after all that talk of couches and Netflix. I was all prepared for a weekend in and my sweet husband caught me by surprise with an early birthday gift. You are looking at Taylor Swift’s oldest living fan and someone who was surprised with last minute tickets to her show on Saturday. I was like a 12 year old girl. Did I scream my lungs out? Yes. Did I buy a t-shirt? Duh. Did I think she was pointing to me in the crowd of thousands? Of course I did. It was the best surprise I could have asked for from my sweet husband. I told him that he has really raised the stakes for Christmas now. He looked worried, but I’ll take that look of concern as preperation.
If you follow me on Instagram, then you know I’ve been wearing this outfit non-stop. It’s a slouchy sweater and a slouchy scarf, so you can understand why I’ve been living in this all the time. Fact: I’ve never met a slouchy top I didn’t like.

  1. That’s so awesome you got to go to the Taylor Swift concert. I would have wanted to go so badly when she was here, but I couldn’t find anyone else that would want to go through the crowds of 15 year olds.

Complete love for this outfit! I love slouchy everything, especially when there’s pockets involved.

  2. You’re so sweet by admitting to be Taylor Swift’s fan! I actually like her songs a lot and would def. not miss out on her show. This is a simple and super cute outfit! Love the scarf and sunnies!

  3. I was there, too! I think if I’d have run into you, that would have been too much greatness for one night. What a show!

  4. Kendi, I LOVE this outfit. I’m sad the exact scarf isn’t available anymore, but I know that I’ll have to find something similar to recreate. Thank you for showing that slouchy tops don’t have to look horrible 😉

  5. 1) You look adorable. I love this top on you. 2) I WAS ALSO THERE ON SATURDAY!!! I’ve never seen a stadium show before–omg! It was unreal. And we got a special guest?! Ellie-freaking-Goulding?! I died and went to heaven in AT&T Stadium that night.

  6. I keep going back and forth as to whether I should buy these jeans or not! They look great on you!! Would you say they run big (as most pants at Loft) or more true to size since they are a jegging?

  7. I love this slouchy sweater and the scarf is perfect with it!!

  8. Love it! Mind sharing the fabric contents of the sweater? I looked at their website, but it just says it’s jersey. Thanks so much!

    1. Hi! It is… 48% Rayon, 48% Poly, 4% Spandex. Hand wash cold — but I machine wash cold and hang to dry or lay flat and it is just fine. 😉
