I don’t know what it is but fall always makes me lures me back to classic pieces. I gravitate towards classic and simple looks, which is always an easy choice to look pulled together. Which I need right now since we are on full-steam ahead this week. We were smart enough to plan our moving right around a huge Oktoberfest event in downtown McKinney (where our shop is) that just happens to be this weekend. Calendars shmalendars, I say! I’ll sleep when I’m moved, right?
Back to this little olive number that I promise is olive but photographed grey, it’s such an easy dress to throw on and feel pulled together instantly. And when I’m running around this week juggling the move and work, I can’t argue with that. Anything that makes me look organized and like I know what I’m doing? I’ll take it. In all 4 colors.

I think this is flattering, but DANG is it short. The shirttail effect makes it even shorter. It’s cute, but I think it would be better a little longer!

Can I also ask how the sizing was on this… I’m usually an 8 and see Nordstroms says to order one size down… did you find that to be the case?
Magdelena! I just now saw this — so sorry! I stayed true to size and went with medium and it fit perfect.
Not to worry! Debating whether to add this to my November budget… I live in Northern California so not sure if it will be too cool by then for a shirt dress.
