I feel like I start dressing for the weekend right around Wednesday. And I’m okay with this. Some days just require sneaks. And why not dress for the day you wish it was? I’m always in a Friday state of mind.
Important update on the white sneaks status: still clean. I’m a believer in scotch guard, my friends. If only I could scotch guard everything I own. Wait — can I? That’s half rhetorical, half curious.

  1. I'm so glad that gingham is in this spring! This look is so playful and fun, while still looking very classic in black and white. Love the little details that dress up the gingham and denim like the earrings and sunnies!

  3. Really looking forward to wearing gingham the upcoming S/S season! There sure were quite a lot of the print on the runway, and I loved the catwalk looks as much as this look of yours. You're looking radiant in these pics!

  4. I absolutely love that dress!!! It's gorgeous. And with the jacket and shoes it's just begging to go walk around a park or something.

  5. I wash my jack purcell converse in the washing machine and they come out looking like new every time! The insoles are removable, so I place those in a delicates bag with the shoes and use a gentle cycle for washing. I also add hydrogen peroxide with the detergent, which naturally bleaches the white portion without turning anything yellow. I've had them for two years now and aside from the wear on the sole and around the bottom edge of the rubber around the shoe, they still look like new. 🙂 I've worn them to petting zoos with my toddler, the zoo itself (lol), pumpkin patches, state fairs, street fairs – so I'm pretty proud of how well my shoes look, even after putting them through the ringer.
