Easy Chic

Let's be honest, it's hard to follow up a crop top + midi skirt, especially that one from yesterday. I figure I might as well not even try to top it. Although I do love this little striped dress from Target.

There's always a winning argument for a nice cotton dress that you want to wear every single day, that doesn't wrinkle or cling to you. (I've actually slept in this dress when I was too lazy to change into pajamas. Two points for comfort, minus one for lazy.) I also bought this dress in plain black because somedays you just don't feel like trying. That outfit also include Birkenstocks (oh yeah, I went there) and a bun. Lazy chic; for when you haven't completely given up but you're pretty darn close.

  7. Trying or not, but you always top your outfits with every new outfit that you put out.

They aren't all in the same "vibe" but that's not the point anyway, the point is that they're all equally great and stylish! :)

  18. Haha I'm wearing the thicker striped version of this dress right now! (I also own the one you're wearing here...) And you're right, I have to work hard not to wear one of them everyday, and I'm always trying to remember if I was wearing it the last time I went out with friends? It's super comfy. I've also slept in mine. Perfect summer dress!

  19. I wish they still had it in the striped print! May have to pick it up in black for those days you discussed above :)

  20. Man, you always find the best stuff at Target. I see the things you find & I'm like "why didn't I see that?!" I've been looking for more short sleeved dresses too since I've been
trying to shed this baby weight I've been carrying since January. Pretty sure I'll be running to my local Tar-jay this weekend to pick up this little number. Perfect for summer & as a cover up for my new "problem areas"!

Have a GREAT weekend! Catch up on that sleep & get in some doggy snuggles! :-)

  28. Are those stripes blue or black? I've been obsessed with it since you posted a photo on IG, and I thought they were black stripes, but the stripes on your dress look blue! I'd much prefer blue but it doesn't appear to be an option.

  38. Oh kendi!! I will be completely honest. That dark black hair is not attractive. Please go lighter. My nice and sister both dyed their hair black as well and it just makes them look evil and worldly. And only enhances dark circles under their eyes. I don't mean to act rude, just trying to help you.

Loving the simple summer look you're rocking here. A shift dress is the ultimate way to look like you're trying, when really, you just want to be comfortable.

This outfit is adorable! However, did you not find that dress to be see through? I tried it on at Target awhile back(also bought the black too :-D).. they are super comfy..agree on the fact I could wear it to bed. The striped was SO cute, wanted it so bad, but I could plain as day see my nude underwear right through it. I was like wtf?! Haha! Did you wear a slip with yours??
