Today was one of those rare days where it rains and shines at the exact same time. It’s killer on a good hair day but sans the hair issue, it’s really quite nice. Warm sunshine, cool rain. It could be a lot worse — I mean it could be windy. I’ll take misty rain over wild wind any day of the week. (If you’ve ever wondered why I touch my hair so much in posts it’s because it’s windy and I’m trying to hold my hair down so I don’t look crazy. And — not to brag — but my hair is really, really soft.)

I feel like our life right now is also rain with sunshine. And thanks to your sweet comments of encouragement, I’m seeing more sunshine than rain. Again, thank you x 1,000,000 for being really kind and good people. You will never know how much I lean on that.

  1. Love love the cut of this skirt! Your ability to put on a smile and still take outfit pictures, despite everything going on in your life right now is a huge inspiration to me. We have so much craziness going on in our lives right now, too. and I want to keep up with the blog through it all. Somehow, it gives me a sense of stability to keep the posts coming.

  2. Perfect sweatshirt and your hair looks gorgeous! Good luck with everything that comes your way, I’m sure that you’ll soon get a clear view and know what to do with Bloom in the future. I’m sure that a lot of beautiful things are waiting for you and your business.

  3. Even with the rain and sun, it looks like you are still having a good hair day. 🙂

Also, I didn’t comment yesterday, but I was saddened by your post. But, similar to what you’re saying about your life being rain and sun, a friend of mine always says “No rain, no rainbows.” Even though it’s sad you are closing your brick and mortar (for now) I’m excited for you and going to live vicariously through you if you do travel around doing pop up shops. Because that sounds awesome.

  4. Can i have your wedges please? Also, just want to say, you’re killing it on Pinterest. Do people say things like that? Idk. I just really like your pins.

  5. So cute, sad to hear about Bloom. My sister literally just went to your shop the other weekend, but I am sure wonderful things will come of this decision. Good luck!

  6. Love the simplicity of this outfit.. Super cute! I just recently started a blog but I’ve been following yours forever, I love how you mentioned yesterday’s comments helped you get through a difficult time. I hope one day to have that connection with my followers!

  10. Love this look! Our rain turned to snow here in Minneapolis. Such a bummer. Talk about a bad hair day… 😉

  14. Grey + navy is such a timeless colour combination. I like this beaded sweater very much, adds a little bit of texture to the whole outfit.
