Oh, February. What is it about you that makes me want to dress like a valentine? I throw out all of my   logic and dress like a child. And I think that is just fine.

This time of the year is the worst. I always seem to be in a style rut, I think it’s just the weather being grey and dreary all the time. I just want to wear a sweater and jeans every day (honestly I want to wear a sweatshirt and yoga pants) but today I didn’t let myself. And I’m feeling pretty good about that decision to dress like a life size valentine.

  2. I love this! I'm not really a huge fan of Valentine's Day…but this outfit kinda got me excited to maybe do something fun this year! I love mixing reds and pinks.

  3. I wish everyday was valentines day just because the colors are to die for!! Love your look!

  4. Ooo love it, girl! These peaches are such a great color for you! Minnesota is currently freezing…so I'm with ya on the style rut. Luckily Anthro makes some rockin' coats like the one you're workin…those tend to help a girl out! 😉

  5. Lauren Moffatt coats are the only reason I never want winter to end. So cute!

  9. "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your Heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." (Matthew 6:25-34)

    Exercises:

Worries and fears: Each morning make a list of the worries and fears that go through your head and surrender them to God. As worried and anxieties pop up during the day, write them down and surrender them to God when you have time throughout the day.

  10. LOVE this outfit. Perfect for Valentine's 🙂
