The bigger the better with scarves this season. Just when I think I’ve got something figured out, the season changes it. This year it’s ‘let’s wrap that blanket scarf real close to your face’ and call it a day kind of a look.  So I say this winter, go big or go home when it comes to scarves.

  6. I love my plaid oversized scarf from Zara. At first, I wasn’t sure how to pull it off. But now I found a way to wear it so I embrace the size and love the warmth it provides!

  11. they're huge in London! Everyone is wearing them. Found a few, not too intimidatingly oversized, scarves in Zara this weekend. It's wool blend with a subtle tartan print. Might have to steal it and steal one of these looks while we're at it!

  25. I agree with others in the thread, (a) love them, but (b) agree they can be too bulky in true winter locations. If I’m already stuffed into a giant heavy winter or puffer-style coat, wrapping this around me just looks silly. The two I own get used most while I’m at home snuggling on the coach, or when it’s getting cooler in the fall and I’m in a lighter weight fall jacket that isn’t bulky. How do you wear one with bulky winter coats? Help, Ellen in Chicago
