As I was writing this post, I stopped and thought out loud “does everyone already have a denim jacket?” My husband overhead me and correctly answered “everyone should have denim jacket.” Wise man, he is.
So I found a few of favorites from around the web. The dark denim look is put-together and slightly preppy, the worn-in gives an outfit an “I don’t even care that my jacket has a small hole” vibe in the coolest way possible, the shrunken fit gives you the denim look without feeling bulky and I just liked the look of the military one, to be honest. Kind of a new take on a denim jacket, don’t you think? Four denim jackets; take your pick.

I know your husband is going to scoff and roll his eyes at me, but I don’t own one! I’m insanely indecisive about what kind of jacked I’d want, but I’m leaning more toward a darker wash jacket. It’s the inner-prep in me that wants one!
i have basically a mix of the classic and shrunken. mainly because i shrunk my classic one that was already a petite one. it’s perfect.
i love the worn in look. fits my style best.

I have a denim jacket from Gap that I’ve owned now for 10 years… and I intend on keeping it forever! It’s one of those classics that everyone should own… kinda like underwear or shoes…

I have had the same denim jacket for 3 or 4 years now, but seem to be growing increasingly obsessed with them this year… I feel like I need more?! I have a very pale denim one, and a mid wash is definitely next on my list! They just go with everything, especially now that spring & summer dresses are finally making an appearance… the denim jacket is the perfect throw over & go! Obsessed, officially.

I have actually been wearing the same denim jacket since 2000! Not even kidding. It’s an old Gap standby that’s somewhere in between dark and worn. I love it.
I have 2. 1 is dark and worn, the other is a white denim motorcycle jacket <3 them!
i might be the only woman that doesn’t own a denim jacket, but every time i put one on, i feel stupid in it. i always think i need one and try it on, with the same feeling. i have never owned one. ever. but i think they look adorable on everyone else, which is why i’m always trying them on.
I love the shrunken one, probably b/c it is similar to what I have. I haven’t worn it in awhile since my sister swiped it from my closet! lol. Time to start thinking of buying a new one. (The military one is too cool!)
