Over at My Life Scoop today, I’m writing about the Best Sites to Help You Get Dressed. You, of course, probably don’t need help because you probably don’t get confused in the morning and end up in a panic and wishing you would have planned an outfit the night before and that there was some sort of site that could give you endless outfit ideas. I’m probably the only person that does that, but just in case I thought I’d share my favorite sites that help me find daily inspiration.
Head on over and share your favorite sites with me! Because sharing is caring.

  1. this is my life every morning. standing in my closet staring at my clothes for at least 20 minutes. thanks for sharing! I will hopefully not be so late to work every morning now.

  2. I used to really love your blog but lately it feels a little like everything is either about gap or some other random sponsorship. I don't mean to be rude but I really miss the 30×30 challenges and the more heartfelt posts.

  3. Hi Sara:

Thanks for your thoughts. I do accept sponsored post and I have for 3 years now as that is how I make a living. As far as the Gap Styld.By campaign, that was one of the most exciting campaigns I was asked to be apart of and I am so proud of the collaboration because I've shopped there from the beginning.

The 30 for 30 was a challenge I created in 2010 and took 5 times over the course of a year and a half, but after the last challenge I came to the conclusion that it's a challenge, a diet for your closet if you will. I learned what I needed to but also needed to move on and take the lessons I've learned from them. If you want to read those posts, they are all still available, broken out by each challenge. You can click on the sidebar button that reads 30 for 30 when you scroll over it.

  5. Thanks for the advice on what sites to use! Love Who What Wear and Effortless Chic! And of course your website 🙂

  6. Kendi, I've recently discovered your blog and find myself checking in every day. You have great style and always manage to look effortlessly polished. I've visited many blogs but enjoy yours the most as I have similar taste in style and fashion. Being from Canada, I don't get to cash in on the good in-store and on-line deals offered across the border so I try to focus on mixing high end pieces with stuff from Joe Fresh, H&M, Old Navy and other "affordable" retailers. You do a great job of this yourself and I have definitely taken inspiration from some of your outfits (and will continue to do so). Can't wait to see what fabulous outfit you will put together next. Question. I have a beautiful 3/4 sleeve white blazer with black lapels. For some odd reason, I've been having a hard time pairing it with anything in my closet. Do you have something similar and if so, what have you/would you pair it with? Would love to see or hear about some outfit ideas for this amazing blazer!

  7. I love (and just found) Effortless Chic- she's adorable! And if you do that then that makes two of us 🙂

  8. Donetta. I am a fellow Canadian now living in the US so I totally get what you are saying about the sales!! The Gap is also another great option to shop at they usually have some amazing sales (& sales on top of sales!!)

When I read your comment the first thing that popped into my mind was bright pink…maybe a long tank or dress? Statement necklace? If not and you go with a neutral top & jeans a bright heel would be amazing with it!! Kendi's post yesterday with the neon heels to add pop to the outfit was fab!!! Free advice 🙂 I have a longstanding love of fashion. Hope I was helpful!!

  9. Thank you so much for writing this, Kendi, with such courage and honesty. We're all rooting for you!

  10. It isn't just you! I feel this way every morning. I promise myself that I'll organize, but I don't and then I hate myself for not looking the way I want everyday. I need to do it this weekend! Ugh.

  11. Really cool! I love the suggested sites. I also love your advice about Pintrest so true, I will have to keep that in mind when recreating. There are so many things I want to recreate I would love to put my own twist to each.

  12. Hi Kendi! I never comment on your blog but periodically stop in to check out what adorable things you put together. Out of every other site in the internet's existence (that's saying a lot) I love yours the most. Why would I need anything else to help me get dressed when I just have to look up my pinterest board which is pretty much everything you've ever worn, even from the beginning of your blogger days? 🙂 Seriously, I should rename my board "I stalk Kendi." Might do that.

When I'm stressed out, overworked and feeling depressed my husband says, "don't lose your smile" – so I'll pass his words on to you. Keep your chin up and know that you have a large, appreciative (though stalkerish) audience. 🙂 Thanks for putting forth your blog and all its humor and cute outfits.
