Yes, bare legs again. Winter is a privilege here in Texas, not a right. But this is not a complaint from me. I’ll take fall layers and knee high sock any day. Winter is hard for me style-wise. I feel like it’s the same thing over and over but with tights, so Fall can stay as long as he’d like. A wise woman once said on Twitter “It’s that time of year where I always think ‘this outfit would be so much cuter… if I didn’t have to wear tights..'” Thankfully today I didn’t have to go there. But there is always the fear of tights tomorrow.

  2. I feel pretty much the same, it’s like I feel like I keep putting on the same thing, over and over again and then just change the tights.

  3. yeah…I’m kind of over the tights already. Sometimes I love adding brightly colored tights to update an outfit, and sometimes I just wish I didnt have to wear them. Love this outfit 🙂

  4. I am so jealous of your warm weather – I’m wearing tights AND leggings today, and I’m still freezing in my office!  It’s currently 23F with no promise of warm weather until April or May. Keep rockin’ the cute outfits, lady!

  5. I’m pouting. One: because I’m wearing tights (again) (there’s no question that it’s winter here). And two: because that J.Crew shirt is sold out. Yes, the Madewell version is cute, but still.

Anyhoo, you and your bare legs look great as usual.

  6. I like the green plaid! Very festive.

  22. I think every single girl can relate to this! I just graduated and I knew I had to wear tights with my dress.  It looked 100% better without any type of tight, so I had to wear nude pantyhose. They are cringe worthy(who likes pantyhose anways?), but so worth it in the end. All in the name of fashion!

  40. I live in New England where winter is here from October through April. I started looking at my cold-weather style a little differently in that I get to put together two outfits instead of one. My outerwear is a whole separate look that I get to style on top of whatever indoor-outfit I’m wearing to work or wherever that day. And yes, I get incredibly sick of tights, too, but again, I look at that in a “What fun color tights can I wear to jazz this outfit up a little?” It’s all about perspective.

  41. I love the mixing of stripes and plaid. I do that all the time. Love!

  42. You’ve done it again! Cute as always, and I love the pattern-mixing. And those warm leather colors. Love the classic pieces but contemporary look!

  44. I love the pattern mixing! I’m from North Dakota – we get 60 below windshield temps – and I never wore tights and pencil skirts year ’round! Even while shoveling snow! Your legs get used to it 🙂
