Do you know what I like about animal prints? (Well, besides the fact that they go with everything and that I automatically look sophisticated?) I like that every fall they come back in style. As if they ever left us, right? My advice: Buy leopard print, keep forever. Well maybe not forever — I don’t want that coming back on me in 2050 when you are still hanging on to a leopard pencil skirt and quoting me to the fashion police. Buy leopard print, keep for as long as you’d like. There we go; much less pressure on me now.

  1. Love your top! Lokks a bit military-ish at first, but with that skirt it gets that necessary touch of femininity!

  2. Mmmm, never can go wrong (well, sometimes you can!) with an animal print!

  9. I just love this outfit! It's so hard for me to style animal prints since I honestly have no idea how to de-crazyify (it's a word…) them, but I like the idea of mixing them with brown…seems easy, almost! :]]]

  13. Agreed that animal print is classy…but I've definitely seen plenty of trashy animal print too. I can't put my finger on what makes the difference, but I know it when I see it. This one's classy, so no worries. Also, would we call the top olive green? Or brown? I can't decide.

  17. Kendi! Stopped by Bloom on Saturday and loved it. So bummed I didn't get the chance to meet you!

  18. Love the outfit, but I think you're wearing your bobby pins wrong. Bumpy side should be touching your head and smooth side out. Otherwise you're flawless, as usual. 😀

  19. Love the animal print on u…! I actually dont have anything animal print… Maybe i should get one for the fall!

P.S I just told me husband (who calls me 'Cassie Everyday' when I'm looking trendy) that I have a girl crush on you… Awkward. But seriously I might have to go visit my relatives in McKinney so I can shop Bloom… You seriously stock that place with the cutest stuff!!

  25. I love it when you have a piece of clothing I also own.  Great way to steal ideas for outfits 😀

  26. I love that skirt.  I'm always wary of animal prints.  I should just take the plunge and add a couple of pieces to my wardrobe.  Thanks for the inspiration.
