I've been a bit obsessed with these cloth headbands I've been wearing. (Again, the no shopping thing is really taking a toll on my brain.) They probably aren't even cool, but I just keep wearing them. Take that, society and trends.

I shouldn't have been so hard on the number 17. It was the very lucky recipient of a Zac Efron movie. Not every number is as lucky as 17, you know.

I felt very Parisian in my outfit. Of course the closest I've ever been to Paris, is driving through Paris, Texas. Same name, but maybe not exactly the same thing. So what do I know? This outfit could be the furthest thing from what people in Paris (France or Texas) wear. But I did use a french accent all day, just to further my case. I looked all around our town for a chocolate crossiant and a bistro but no luck. Just a chocolate donut and a Subway. Fair enough.

Have you found this dog yet? My whole neighborhood is counting on you.

The entire blogging community is going to start wearing cloth headbands like this just because Kendi wears them. :)

Whether anyone else thinks they're cool or not, I think they're adorable on you!

This whole outfit is fantastic. I love the pops of red, the stripes, the straight skirt. Gorgeous!

I love everything about this outfit. And I agree with Melissa, all the new posts will feature cloth headbands!

I have trouble finding headbands to fit my strange shaped head, but when I do find one that fits I wear it all.the.time. :)

i loooove your hair in today's set! it's perfectly poufed!

I had to comment today since I love love LOVE stripes + headbands but my haircut is kind of weird in a way that hairbands always seem to slip off 10 secs after I put them on...

Anyway, looooove the parisian flair! PS. totally know what you mean about only subway + donut shops... I spend my time in San Saba, TX half the time and seriously the only food options are BBQ, Mexican food, everything/anything fried, sonic, subway and donuts!! Not even a HEB or Walmart... :(

You've outdone yourself! That headband is incredibly flattering on you. It adds just the right touch to make you UNBELIEVABLY adorable (as opposed to just plain ol' adorable). :)

Gorgeous. So simple yet so stylish.

I feel a bit like a gypsy today but if I went around talking in a gyspy accent I'm pretty sure the only people that would understand me would be fans of the movie Snatch.

Cute outfit & love the pops of red!

It doesn't seem Parisian to me... It seems kind of house-wife-ish. I think it's the headband-thingy.

I apparently like describing things like this-ish.

At least you look cute!

And I love the big puffy hair with the headband!

the cloth headbands are cute :) your lucky you can pull one off. they look horrid on me. and paris, texas is much better than paris, michigan. unless they have a miniature eiffel tower too?

Hannah said...

As you have no doubt decided from the multitude of other compliments on your hair, the cloth headband is definitely cool. It should stick around for awhile yet.
And the more you wear those shoes, the more I love them. I'm glad they got to be included in the remixing.

Paris or not - the outfit looks great :-)

My dog Layla told me to tell you that if you stand outside and bark incessantly, dog white poodle will come to you. But, it will only work if you bark in front of passersby.

Oh, and she also says come check out my current headband giveaway :-)

This look is so polished but still relaxed. I still wear my cloth headbands even though they're not cool anymore!

You have a knack for making the simplest of outfits look incredibly chic. Who knew a khaki pencil skirt and a striped tee could look so good!

I have this same shirt and wear it with a dark red skirt. I always think of it as my Paris outfit and daydream about standing in front of the Eiffel tower.

I dunno if those headbands are cool or not, but it looks so pretty on you! Keep 'em up, I say.

And I know it's really inappropriate (cougar much?), but I'm in lust with Zac Efron. He sings, dances, acts and sure is pretty...swoon...

I love this! The width of that headband is perfection. Especially paired with the stripes.

And I can see why those shoes are among your favs.

I may have died. The stripes, the skirt, the headband, the "dog white poodle" reference when I had JUST RECOVERED FROM THE FITS OF LAUGHTER! Great look.

i love this outfit! and you're lucky to be able to pull off those cloth headbands -- on my head, they just look weird for five minutes and then fall off.

The pops of coral from the belt and shoes are so wonderful in this outfit. And this definitely strikes me as Parisian (though I haven't been anywhere in Europe, so what do I know?).

This outfit made my smile, I used to own that very pencil skirt from the gap and wore it to death. But it was the first pencil skirts I would wear anywhere, since then the khaki pencil skirt has come to be an irreplaceable part of my life.

I once had a French friend who actually did rock the striped tees. It made me very happy. Granted, he was an ex-pat living in Sydney, so perhaps it was nostalgia kicking in for him...but I'll take it as validation of the stripes!! Super-cute outfit :).
