Guys I’m still sick. I tally-marked day 5 on the wall behind my bed. Why did I tell you that? That’s weird.
I thought that I was fine on Thursday but I got sick again that night. On Friday, I went back to the doctor and he finally (finally!) gave me a prognosis — double ear infection and a sinus infection and the start of bronchitis. The good news is I got some antibiotics so I should return to the land of the living soon. That or I’ll be taking pictures of me and how I styled my hospital gown. Don’t doubt me. I’d do it.
So I was supposed to go to the New Media Fashion Brunch and Boutique Crawl yesterday. But when I woke up I could barely make it out of bed, let alone to Austin. When my husband looked at me and said, you probably shouldn’t go I cried like a little girl. I had been looking forward to this since February! But I am so so so excited that it was such a success! I am sad that I didn’t get to meet all of the beautiful Texas style bloggers out there, but I am hopeful that you girls have put Austin and Texas on the map for fashion. Austin is so the new Milan.

awe, that sucks that you didn't get to go to the event! I hope you feel better, being sick is the worst, especially when there are things you'd rather be doing.

i'm totally feeling your pain, this is day 7 for me…i haven't been this sick for years, it suuuuucks. i've noticed a lot of fashion bloggers are sick..wierd, right?
my husband hates it when i go to the doctor, he thinks it's a waste of money…thanks honey.
Ugh. I had bronchitis last year around this time. They'll give you nice antibiotics that will knock you out, and you'll barely remember you ever even had it in the first place.
get well soon!!! I was so sick a couple weeks ago and now am just getting over a 48 hour stomach thing that was not good. It's that time of year, weather patterns are changing, people are getting sick. Take care of yourself!!

ugh! double ear infection, I feel for you! i had one a few weeks ago and I felt like pulling a picasso and chopping the whole thing off. i hope you feel better soon.

You've got awesome sick hair. It reminds me a bit of my own that sticks up from being permanently placed on a pillow all day when I'm feeling under the weather. Totally went through the clogged ear/sinus syndrome last week 🙁

I laughed at the sick face. I hate hate hate being sick so I sympathize. Showing that red-eye face just helps show your human side, and that's a nice touch 🙂
